NORA
„Nora” is a major clasic text in universal dramaturgy, played on the most famous stages in the world and staged by important directors. The text is a masterpiece written by Henrik Ibsen in 1879, having a profound impact to this day. This production proposes a contemporary interpretation of the play, an innovative directorial vision, unexplored by other directors. „Nora” is part of the Grivița 53 promotion and revitalization project carried out with the support of the SEE 2014- 2021 grants through the Ro-Cultura program, artistic endeavour that aims to address classical and contemporary Norwegian literature and dramaturgy and to implement culturally referenced projects based on Norwegian texts.
"Nora" is a co-production in partnership with Bucharest National Theatre and enjoys immense success both among the press and the public. Moreover, at the show’s premiere Norwegian actress Ellen Horn, a relevant cultural figure of reference in Nordic countries was present. She declared: “It is one of the most provocative and powerful directorial visions of this text- a masterpiece. A staggering performance through all the scenic media used and through the abundance of symbols.”-Ellen Horn.
